DEAR FRIENDS OF THE AUTOMOBILE SPORT,

For the eighth time this year sport club "INTERSPEED NG" is going to organize rally "Trayanovi vrata". It is the first round of the East European cup – FIA and also the first round of the National championship – BFAS.
Already 8 years since a group of enthusiasts, ignoring the responsibilities and the problems they are taking on, decided to organize a “small” competition, in order:

- to meet the wishes of pilots and their clubs;
- to increase the number of competitions of the National championships calendar and on this way to prolong the sports-year;
- to create possibilities for analyses of the winter- preparation of the clubs and their pilots, and thus to make the necessary conclusions concerning the next competitions;
- to find new sponsors;
- and at last, to satisfy the interest of the great number of spectators and fans of the automobile sport.

In order to achieve all this, BFAS assigned our club "Interspeed NG" to organize and realize such a rally.
That’s how the history of "Trayanovi vrata" started.
Long hours of work to determine the vision and the details of the rally followed: what should be its name? where should be its center? How many and where should be the special stages?, and a lot of other questions…..
We had desire and the ambition to satisfy all the interested sides and to organize a rally, beloved by everyone.
As a center of it we chose the town of Kostenets, where we were welcomed, and at the end the initiative was realized. After just a year the competition got a round of the East European cup.
But with the time voices were heard, like  "we are fed up with looking at one and the same routes, aren’t there new ones.?" So, we took a bold decision on: one, of SS to be conducted by night.
This was med with enthusiasm as well by the organizers, as by pilots and spectators. That competition was really a night-holyday, it was beautiful.
But for different reasons those routes were forbidden by the authorities and we were not allowed to repeat this again.
We didn’t stop thinking how to respond to the wishes of pilots and people who love the automobile sport- to find and insert something new, in the rally.
This is going to happen in SS 11. We have a new vision:
Center of the rally will be the town of Panagyuriste. During the two competitive days the pilots will be driving 502.6 km., 202,5km.of which will be SS and 300 km. – free driving. The SS will be 11.
